SUZANNE TICK IN “A LOOM OF ONE’S OWN” @ ONNA HOUSE: JULY 2 – 30, 2022 – EAST HAMPTON, NY

From July 2 – 30th, “A Loom of One’s Own” is on view at Onna House by appointment in East Hampton, NY. Lisa Perry @lisaperrystyle has invited 11 women artists, including @suzannetick, for a group show working in a broad range of mediums all encompassing textiles in some form. The exhibition is a twist on the title of the famous book by Virginia Woolf “A Room of One’s Own,” which is a series of six essays seeking to answer why fewer women than men have written. ⁠We know in art we have the same story.⁠ ⁠

The mission of Onna House is to create visibility and appreciation for the work of women artists and designers. Rather than functioning as a traditional gallery space, Onna House is a private home and studio in East Hampton NY where friends can discover and collect new work; engage, support, and collaborate with artists; and relax while enjoying a stunning architectural setting and garden.
