Join Suzanne at this Year’s Publicolor Day Saturday October 18th
Saturday, October 18, 2014 – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Every fall Publicolor celebrates PublicolorDay, declared by Mayor Bloomberg in a 2006 proclamation to celebrate “Publicolor and its volunteers for proving that simple acts can make a profound and positive impact on struggling communities.” We select and transform NYC public spaces, sharing the power of color and design with as many New Yorkers as possible. It’s a day of community service, collaboration, creativity and celebration.
This year we’ll be painting The High School of Fashion Industries at 225 West 24th Street in Manhattan, as we prep the space for a Sol Lowitt installation.
We will also be in the following schools where corporate volunteers will be painting alongside our students:
Science Skills Center High School for Science, Technology and the Creative Arts, Brooklyn
New Directions High School, Bronx
So save the date and join us for a festive day of community service and help us share the power of color and design with all New Yorkers!
