Seeking a clean and uncluttered backdrop to illustrate this initiative, Teknion narrowed its focus on architect Pierre Koenig’s Stahl House, otherwise known as Case Study House 22. Inspired by the project’s economy, practicality, and material innovation, Teknion assembled Bow Tie 02’s seating and furniture within the elevated space for a photo shoot by David Peterson.
Of course, textiles became a critical component of the statement, adding a layer of rich materiality that balances the architecture’s strict geometry.
