Thank you, Interior Design! Mutable Matter, designed by Suzanne Tick for Luum, is winner of this year’s HiP Award in the Workplace: Fabric + Textiles category. Mutable Matter launches on Sept 15, 2020.

We are excited to announce that our new product with Skyline Design, Obscura, has been chosen for a Metropolis Likes Award! **Available this Fall** Obscura is an architectural film that focuses on creating privacy in incremental dimensions, and providing minimal and specific coverage and also satisfies building codes that increasingly require glass with markings, particularly in corporate and healthcare environments.

Tick Studio had the pleasure of participating at a designer happy hour yesterday at Poppin’s Flatiron showroom, where we gave a sneak peek preview of our forthcoming collections with Skyline Design slated for launch in June 2020. To get ready for New York’s plastic bag ban, effective March 1, Tick Studio lead museum-goers at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in making lap loom weavings using recycled materials including plastic bags, mylar balloons, and other single use plastics. Raising awareness on the larger topic of climate change, participants also learned how to calculate their own carbon footprint. There were three workshops at 9am, 11am and 1pm.

Participants brought their own plastic bags to weave into their design. Thank you to everyone who contributed to a fantastic event!
