Suzanne visited with the London A&D industry the week of May 20th to host sustainable weaving workshops (images below), hold talks in the Luum + Teknion showroom (images above) and present Luum’s newest collection: Twist on a Classic to SOM, Gensler and Foster’s + Partners.

Michelle Yee of Interior Design Magazine and Suzanne Tick sat down for a conversation on Vedic Meditation and how it inspires creativity. “….designers like Mary-Ann Agresti, principal and owner of The Design Initiative, Suzanne Dean, founder of Suzanne Dean Interior Design, Gala Magriñá, founder of her namesake studio, and Annie Mock, cofounder and principal of Chan Mock Architects, now practice Vedic Meditation. “Meditation has improved the way I listen to others, [and] also how I respond to day-to-day situations,” Dean adds. “It gives me more space to consider the outcomes and then direct clients to better solutions.” Read on HERE.

We are currently reflecting on a beautiful, joyful, transformative weaving workshop with Why Not Prosper in Philadelphia, PA today, May 13, 2024. Working with women who have had so much significance in their lives, and weaving with physical materials such as court documents, baby clothing, graduation sashes and recycled textile and balloon scraps.. showing darkness, vibrancy of the present and obstacles overcome. We are so grateful to Rev. Michelle and her group for sharing a day with us!
